Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book?

Booking two to four weeks ahead is recommended, although availability varies by project. Larger productions and projects tied to a specific date may require more notice. If your timeline is shorter, you’re still welcome to reach out and check availability.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A nonrefundable retainer is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance will be due according to the payment schedule outlined in your agreement.

Do you travel outside Columbia, Missouri?

Yes. Travel within 25 miles of Columbia is included. Projects farther away may require an additional travel fee, which will be clearly included in your estimate before booking.

How long does delivery take?

Preview photographs or a first draft will typically be provided within two weeks. Completed photo galleries and video projects are generally delivered within four weeks. More complex projects may require additional time, and your expected delivery date will be confirmed before work begins.

Can you help plan what we should photograph or film?

Absolutely. Full-production and business-photography projects include planning support so we can develop the concept, priorities, locations, and shot list before the session or production begins.

What if I need something that isn’t listed?

The services shown are starting points. If your project needs a different combination of photography, filming, editing, or deliverables, I can create a custom estimate based on its scope.

How many revisions are included?

Photography and video projects include one revision round. This covers reasonable adjustments to selected photographs or the video draft. Additional revision rounds, requests outside the agreed project scope, and extensive photo retouching are available for an additional fee.

Do I receive the raw photos or video footage?

Photography clients receive all successful images from the session, professionally edited and delivered in high-resolution and web-ready formats. RAW photo files are not provided because they are unfinished working files that require specialized software and are not intended for client editing.

Raw video footage is not automatically included but may be purchased for an additional fee based on the project’s length, file volume, and delivery requirements.
